Sculpted eye openings or spaces
may be windows to the soul.
The spaces are invitations to physically
and spiritually enter and exit what
appears to be a lifeless piece of bronze,
but are in fact a "hanging fire" waiting
to be stirred and energized into life
by the discerning observer.
